1 small buttercup or acorn squash
1/2 cup chopped tart cooking apple
2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Cut squash in 1/2. Rinse seeds out.
3. Put squash cut side up in ungreased baking dish.
4. Mix remaining ingredients and spoon into squash 1/2.
5. Cover and bake 30 -40 minutes or until tender.
