Turkey Cheese Dip: Submitted by: Wendy R Cook | Date Added: 29 Oct 2018 Ingredients:

2 1/2 cup shredded Colby-Jack, plus more for topping
2 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan
1/2 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup diced turkey
1 round loaf sourdough bread
1/2 bunch chives, diced (for garnish, optional)

Cooking Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mix cheeses, onion, garlic, mayonnaise and turkey until just combined, then set aside.
2. Carve the top of the sourdough bread off using a serrated knife, being careful not to cut through to the bottom of the loaf. Pull off the piece of the bread, creating a 'lid' to the dip, and use your hands to tear out the inside of the bread, forming a bowl.
3. Pour the cheese dip into the bread bowl, and top with additional Colby-Jack and a light sprinkle of chives. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese on top has melted and turned a light golden brown.
4. Chop the bread bowl 'lid' and pieces you tore out of the bowl into bite-sized bits. Serve alongside the dip.
