Upside-Down German Chocolate Cake: Submitted by: Lou Cook | Date Added: 4 Jan 2010 Ingredients:

1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips
3/4 butter or margarine
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 box (1 pound) confectioner's sugar

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1. Mix together coconut and nuts. Put in the bottom of a greased 9 X 13 inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the coconut and nuts.

2. Mix cake mix according to directions on the box and pour over bottom layer.

3. In a separate bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese with an electric mixture. Slowly add in powdered sugar, mixing well. Pour over cake batter.

4. Bake 40 - 50 minutes
