6 slices buttered toast, cut into cubes
2 cups grated Tillamook or other cheddar sheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Butter a two-quart baking dish. Fill it with alternating layers of toast cubes and grated cheese.
3. Beat together the eggs, milk and seasonings; pour over the toast-cheese mixture. Bake 40 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve at once.
